First American Bank’s Non-profit NOW Account is designed to keep banking simple for non-profit groups:
- This account pays interest*, and may be free of service charges, depending on the value of account activity.
- This account also allows non-profit groups to eliminate sweep accounts, as the balances in the checking account earn interest without sweeping to another account.
- Free: First 100 checks; $.20 per check thereafter
- Free: First 50 deposits; $.25 per item thereafter
- Free: First 500 deposited items
- 501 to 999 deposited items $.10 per item
- 1,000+ deposited items $.150 per item
- Free: Internet account access. Access account information, make transfers and more at no charge
Regulation D sets out very specific guidance regarding eligibility for negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) accounts.
